Who may apply?
Lecturers at public universities in Central and South Eastern Europe may apply.
Target countries: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine.
External lecturers may apply as well but their courses must be carried out within the legal framework of a public higher education institution.
Grants are not awarded to individuals or political parties.
May public universities which are based outside of Central and South Eastern Europe also apply?
No, the call is aimed at public universities in Central and South Eastern Europe.
Can we file the application in a local language?
As we work internationally in various countries we would be grateful if you would submit your application by e-mail and in English.
This helps us include such a large geographic region in the call – we thank you for your understanding on this matter.
The courses can naturally be held in local languages.
What kind of funding is provided?
For all selected applications, the following activities are eligible for financial support:
Course development, study visit(s) to foreign institution(s) (preferably within the region), literature purchases, hosting of guest lecturers, publication costs, other costs connected to student involvement (e.g. excursions with students), and participation in two international meetings, indirect costs for the implementing institution.
Do we need a cost calculation for the project?
Yes, the applications must include a cost calculation, within fixed ceilings for each of the aforementioned activities.
